2 And there was of the house1004 of Saul7586 a servant5650 whose name8034 was Ziba.6717 And when they had called7121 him to David,1732 the king4428 said559 to him, Are you Ziba?6717 And he said,559 Your servant5650 is he.

2 Es war aber ein Knecht5650 vom Hause1004 Sauls7586, der hieß8034 Ziba6717, den riefen7121 sie zu David1732. Und der König4428 sprach559 zu ihm: Bist du Ziba6717? Er sprach559: Ja, dein Knecht5650.

3 And the king4428 said,559 Is there not yet5750 any376 of the house1004 of Saul,7586 that I may show6213 the kindness2617 of God430 to him? And Ziba6717 said559 to the king,4428 Jonathan3083 has yet5750 a son,1121 which is lame5223 on his feet.7272

3 Der König4428 sprach559: Ist noch jemand vom Hause1004 Sauls7586, daß ich Gottes430 Barmherzigkeit2617 an ihm tue6213? Ziba6717 sprach559 zum Könige4428: Es657 ist noch da ein376 Sohn1121 Jonathans3083, lahm5223 an Füßen7272.

4 And the king4428 said559 to him, Where375 is he? And Ziba6717 said559 to the king,4428 Behold,2009 he is in the house1004 of Machir,4353 the son1121 of Ammiel,5988 in Lodebar.3810

4 Der König4428 sprach559 zu ihm: Wo375 ist er? Ziba6717 sprach559 zum Könige4428: Siehe, er ist zu Lodabar, im Hause1004 Machirs4353, des Sohns Ammiels5988.

5 Then king4428 David1732 sent,7971 and fetched3947 him out of the house1004 of Machir,4353 the son1121 of Ammiel,5988 from Lodebar.3810

5 Da sandte der König4428 David1732 hin und1121 ließ7971 ihn holen von Lodabar aus dem Hause1004 Machirs4353, des Sohns Ammiels5988.

6 Now when Mephibosheth,4648 the son1121 of Jonathan,3083 the son1121 of Saul,7586 was come935 to David,1732 he fell5307 on5921 his face,6440 and did reverence.7812 And David1732 said,559 Mephibosheth.4648 And he answered,559 Behold2009 your servant!5650

6 Da nun Mephiboseth4648, der Sohn1121 Jonathans3083, des Sohns Sauls7586, zu David1732 kam935, fiel5307 er auf6440 sein Angesicht und1121 betete7812 an. David1732 aber sprach559: Mephiboseth4648! Er sprach559: Hie bin ich, dein Knecht5650.

7 And David1732 said559 to him, Fear3372 not: for I will surely3588 show6213 you kindness2617 for Jonathan3083 your father's1 sake,5668 and will restore7725 you all3605 the land7704 of Saul7586 your father;1 and you shall eat398 bread3899 at5921 my table7979 continually.8548

7 David1732 sprach559 zu6213 ihm: Fürchte3372 dich nicht; denn ich will Barmherzigkeit2617 an dir tun6213 um7725 Jonathans3083, deines Vaters1, willen und will dir allen Acker7704 deines Vaters1 Saul7586 wiedergeben; du aber sollst täglich8548 auf meinem Tisch7979 das Brot3899 essen398.

8 And he bowed7812 himself, and said,559 What4100 is your servant,5650 that you should look6437 on such a dead4191 dog3611 as I am?

8 Er aber betete7812 an und sprach559: Wer bin ich, dein Knecht5650, daß du dich wendest6437 zu einem toten4191 Hunde3611, wie ich bin?

9 Then the king4428 called7121 to Ziba,6717 Saul's7586 servant,5288 and said559 to him, I have given5414 to your master's113 son1121 all3605 that pertained1961 to Saul7586 and to all3605 his house.1004

9 Da rief7121 der König4428 Ziba6717, dem Knaben5288 Sauls7586, und sprach559 zu ihm: Alles, was Sauls7586 gewesen1961 ist und seines ganzen Hauses1004, habe ich dem Sohn1121 deines Herrn113 gegeben5414.

10 You therefore, and your sons,1121 and your servants,5650 shall till5647 the land127 for him, and you shall bring935 in the fruits, that your master's113 son1121 may have1961 food3899 to eat:398 but Mephibosheth4648 your master's113 son1121 shall eat398 bread3899 always8548 at5921 my table.7979 Now Ziba6717 had fifteen2568 6240 sons1121 and twenty6242 servants.5650

10 So arbeite ihm nun seinen Acker127, du398 und5647 deine Kinder1121 und Knechte5650, und bringe935 es ein, daß es deines Herrn113 Sohnes1121 Brot3899 sei, daß er sich nähre; aber Mephiboseth4648, deines Herrn113 Sohn1121, soll täglich8548 das Brot3899 essen398 auf meinem Tisch7979. Ziba6717 aber hatte fünfzehn6240 Söhne1121 und zwanzig6242 Knechte5650.

11 Then said559 Ziba6717 to the king,4428 According to all3605 that my lord113 the king4428 has commanded6680 his servant,5650 so3651 shall your servant5650 do.6213 As for Mephibosheth,4648 said the king,4428 he shall eat398 at5921 my table,7979 as one259 of the king's4428 sons.1121

11 Und Ziba6717 sprach559 zum Könige4428: Alles, wie mein Herr113, der König4428, seinem Knechte5650 geboten6680 hat, so soll sein Knecht5650 tun6213. Und Mephiboseth4648 esse398 auf meinem Tisch7979, wie des Königs4428 Kinder1121 eins259.

12 And Mephibosheth4648 had a young6996 son,1121 whose name8034 was Micha.4316 And all3605 that dwelled4186 in the house1004 of Ziba6717 were servants5650 to Mephibosheth.4648

12 Und5650 Mephiboseth4648 hatte einen kleinen6996 Sohn1121, der hieß8034 Micha4316. Aber alles, was im Hause1004 Zibas6717 wohnete, das dienete Mephiboseth4648.

13 So Mephibosheth4648 dwelled3427 in Jerusalem:3389 for he did eat398 continually8548 at5921 the king's4428 table;7979 and was lame6455 on both8147 his feet.7272
